Musicians Needed! Come Join the Fairmont Band! This volunteer group of musicians from the Fairmont area provide musical entertainment, enjoyment, and good will to the community during its summer concert series. Performances take place on Tuesday evenings at Sylvania Park Band Shelter, Rehearsals begin at 6:00 pm and concerts are at 8:00 pm. There are no auditions, tryouts or solos required to participate, and membership is open to all instrumentalists, 10th grade and older. Ice Cold Bottled Water will also be available. The Historic Chubb House will also be open for Guided House Tours from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Take a walk through this historic house, built in 1867, with one of our on-site tour guides. A free will donation will be taken to help with ongoing updates. The Chubb House is located at 209 Lake Avenue in Fairmont, MN. | |
