Musicians Needed! Come Join the Fairmont Band! This volunteer group of musicians from the Fairmont area provide musical entertainment, enjoyment, and good will to the community during its summer concert series. Performances take place on Tuesday evenings at Sylvania Park Band Shelter, Rehearsals begin at 6:00 pm and concerts are at 8:00 pm. There are no auditions, tryouts or solos required to participate, and membership is open to all instrumentalists, 10th grade and older. Fairmont
This annual community festival celebrates all Fairmont has to offer. The kick-off to the two-day festival on Friday evening is a free community meal, live music and inflatables. On Saturday you will find numerous children's activities, food vendors, a huge craft show, activities on the lakes including rubber duck races, the grand parade and it wraps up with a family-friendly street dance with live music and food vendors.
