Fairmont Area Community

Fairmont Junior Senior High School is a Unified Champion School with Special Olympics Minnesota. Our mission is to promote the message of Inclusion For All in our school and in our community. The First Annual Unified Cardinals Million Millimeter Mini Marathon For Inclusion will be a family event for all members of our community. There will be food, music and the Mini Marathon (One million millimeter is 1 km, or a little over two laps around the track). It will be an untimed, walk/stroll/fun run, so everyone can join in the fun! All participants will receive a meal (Pork chop on a stick, chips, watermelon, cookie and water) and a light blue Million Millimeter Mini Marathon t-shirt. Register by May 10 to be guaranteed a t-shirt on the day of the event.
