Summer Prairie Walk - Our prairie walking tour series is the perfect opportunity to learn more about this vital ecosystem and how to create a beautiful and sustainable prairie landscape on your own property. Learn what plants and animals create a thriving prairie ecosystem, prairie management strategies and maintenance schedules, managing drainage and erosion issues, how to create habitat for birds and wildlife, and technical and financial resources available. Attendees will be expected to walk up to one mile. Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to stand for longer periods of time. This is a family-friendly event.
